Overall experience of 1 to 5 years in PCB Layout Design
Responsibilities and Duties
- Experience in schematic capture, library generation, routing rule creation, signal integrity optimization, Layout of complex multilayer printed circuit boards containing analog, digital, RF design and high voltage circuits (Power electronics)
- Layout tools: Allegro, Altium, Pads, Expedition.
- Generating engineering documentation for PCB assembly, including schematics, bills of materials, and assembly drawings (Gerber files, pick and place data, etc.).
- Working with various cross functional teams such as Hardware, Mechanical, SCM, Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCB suppliers, Assembly line teams.
- Keeping updated self with state of art on the latest PCB materials, layer construction techniques, manufacturing guidelines, and implementing them into designs as applicable.
- Depth in Schematic understanding, circuit flow and component functional knowledge
- Ensuring DFM, DFT, DFA constraints setting and generating required documentation.
- Create component symbol and PCB footprint and manage the central database.
- Implement best practices for PCB design to maintain high quality and minimize errors.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Diploma in electrical engineering, Electronics& Communication engineering, or a related field.
